These are flavonoids! antioxidants, which keep cholesterol from sticking in blood vessels, reduce the risk of clots, and slow down the immune responses that lead to clogged arteries.
Not all Chocolates are the same, white chocolate contains no COCOA!.
White Chocolate is cocoa butter or soy lecithin (or a mix) with sugar and vanilla flavor.
Milk chocolate contains some cocoa ( read flavonoids) but not much.
To take full advantage of the antioxidants, look for Dark Chocolate 70% cocoa or better. It’s loaded with more flavonoids than anything else known to mankind!
Word of Warning: 100% chocolate tastes like dirt ( yes I tried it) and should only be used for cooking.
