Luke Skywalker’s light saber has been on Star Wars fans’ Christmas lists for more than 30 years. On Thursday, one fan spent $240,000 to get the real thing: the prop that Mark Hamill used in the first two movies in the original “Star Wars” trilogy.

Hugh Jackman, who was recently selected as “Sexiest Man Alive,” by People magazine, will host the 81st annual Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirmed Friday. Click on picture for full story

One could forgive a movie aimed at children for shamelessly cribbing plot points, but when the canine protagonist of “Bolt” borrows a character arc from Buzz Lightyear, even youngsters will smell a rip-off. Too Bad…
